Vision Statement
Our vision is to educate the modern learner who is wise and is not limited by structure, race, ethnicity , gender or geographical location; hence our slogan “Instructing the wise to be wiser still”. We aim to build virtual, borderless and on-demand affordable classrooms that deliver awesome learning experiences.
Our Tutoring Approach
Our tutors are dynamic, experienced and carefully selected, this makes our learning sessions very interactive and engaging ensuring learners are highly impacted.
- We ensure our tutors understand the kind of learner that is to be taught , the temperament, strength and weaknesses of the learner-these serves as a guide to the flow of sessions. A baseline assessment is also performed from which a personalised learning plan is developed.
- To track performance,we provide periodic progress reports to the parent/client. A log-in code is given to clients once the tutoring classes have begun. This gives access to a student portfolio containing learning objectives and progress reports . Homework schedules and tutor feedback are also found here
Packages
This class comprises of the tutor and just one (1) learner.
This class comprises of the tutor with two (2) learners or more. Small group class(2 or 3 participants only ) are particular good for our younger learners, learners who are easily distracted or grow bored quickly ; the presence of other classmates helps their focus, attention and keeps the class engaging. Our tutoring covers a range of class from Year 1 to 11, Primary one to Senior Secondary (SS3), Grade 1 to Grade 12 , with special examination prep classes and skills acquisition programs also available.
We have experienced tutors who can prepare students for various tests ranging from the Eleven plus grammar school entrance exams, Cambridge Checkpoint exams, GCSE, IGCSE, National Common Entrance exams, SSCE, WAEC, JAMB, GCE, NECO, SSAT, IGCSE, SAT, GMAT / GRE, IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, ACCA, ICAN, and many more. We have tutors suited to your preferences as we tailor our selection process to address each learners’ need. We ensure all selected tutor have the required knowledge and are proficient in the curriculum to be taught. We analyse student’s performance using statistical trend analyses to make useful contribution and improvement to student learning .
At MyTutorLocator you can acquire hands on skills, learn languages, play various musical instruments, as apart of our non -academic tutorials . We have specialists in various non-academic areas ,who can provide learners with opportunities to build skills and pursue occupational or career development in gainful employment.
